We can’t wait to celebrate with you at La Zambra Resort. The area is full of beautiful places to explore, from the beaches of Marbella to the charming streets of Mijas Pueblo.

You’ll also find great accommodation nearby in Marbella, Benalmádena, and Málaga City – all within easy reach of the venue.

  • Mijas Pueblo is a charming whitewashed village nestled in the hills just 15 minutes by car from La Zambra Resort. We’ve stayed in the village many times and absolutely love its cobbled streets, flower-filled balconies, and stunning coastal views. It’s perfect for a relaxed afternoon of strolling, tapas, and local crafts.

    If you’re planning to stay there, we can share a few suggestions.

  • Marbella is a vibrant seaside town about 25 minutes by car from La Zambra Resort. Known for its mix of sandy beaches, stylish restaurants, and a picturesque old town, it offers a blend of coastal glamour and traditional charm.

  • Benalmádena is around 20 minutes by car from La Zambra Resort and has two distinct sides: the traditional Benalmádena Pueblo, a quiet hillside village with whitewashed houses and lovely views, and the coastal area, which is livelier with beaches, a marina, and plenty of bars and restaurants.

    We’ve spent a lot of time in Benalmádena Pueblo and will be staying there before and after our time at La Zambra. If you're considering it, we can share a few suggestions and let you know where we’ll be nearby.

  • Fuengirola is a bustling coastal town just 10–15 minutes by car from La Zambra Resort. It’s known for its long stretch of beachfront, lively promenade, and plenty of shops, restaurants, and bars. The town has a more urban feel than some of the nearby villages but is convenient, cheaper and well-connected by train and taxi.

    It’s a practical option if you’d prefer to be by the sea with easy access to amenities.

Málaga Airport is well connected, with plenty of direct flights from the UK, UAE, and beyond. We’ve listed some of the most common departure points and airlines based on where our guests are travelling from. If you need a hand with travel plans, just let us know and we’ll help you get there!

The Venue

Nestled in the sun-drenched hills of Andalusia on Spain’s Costa del Sol, La Zambra Resort sits among the rolling greens of Mijas Golf, near the charming whitewashed village of Mijas. Perfectly positioned between Málaga and Marbella, the resort is just 30 minutes from Málaga Airport, 30 minutes from Marbella, and a short drive from the beaches of Mijas Costa; offering a beautiful balance of countryside calm and easy coastal access.
